The buyer and seller do not have to manually deal with the transfer of an authorization code, registrar time and seller time zone email delays waiting the approval or push of the domain.
Fast Transfer is associated with sales listed and sold at Afternic and GoDaddy.
Fast Transfer is extended to sellers domains registered elsewhere … for only approved registrars. At the sellers registrar they must “Opted into Fast Transfer” only after they have posted their Afternic sales listing with a “Buy It Now”

1. DynaDot.com was the Registar…. got an email noting a “Pending Sale Lock” has been added for your domain
2. Afternic sent email …. We’ve got great news: ttaxx.com has been successfully transferred! We’re working on sending you the proceeds from the sale. Congratulations! Your domain, has been sold …. through Afternic’s Fast Transfer network.

Not Fast Transfer!
- Leaos.com listing is a 5 letter dotcom and displays that Godaddy.com has rated Leaos.com as “Premium Domain” shown in purple below
- It is a “Verified domain” shown in light blue … meaning we have confirmed at our Registrar that we authorize listing the domain for Sale or Lease to Own within the Afternic /Godaddy Brand network and their authorized partners.
- Next button to the right would be the “Fast Transfer” button – But it is hidden as not a feature offered at the present Registrar. See 1an1.com previous listing image for the green “Fast Transfer Button”!
- Note: Fast Transfer status can be changed. If we move Leaos.com to alternate Registrar that supports “Godaddy – Afternic Fast Transfer” … then we are good to offer “fast transfer” for the domain sale. But the downside is that a transfer/change in Registrars triggers a ICANN 60 day hold. Thus any change in Registrar is going to put one’s sale on HOLD for about 2 months. Bummer!
